ROTATEX™

CHOMARAT is an expert in grid technology, which combines textile and chemical know-how.

Scrim is made from glass yarn in an open mesh construction. The laid scrim manufacturing process chemically bonds non-woven yarns together.

ROTATEX™ is a range of bidirectional glass laid scrim reinforcements, which may be affixed to a non-woven ( glass or polyester layer,) or films (aluminum ,plastic or cellulose-based materials).

The laid scrims may be made to different densities and with various types of thread, so as to obtain the mechanical properties required to reinforce your applications.

The ROTATEX™ range features threads impregnated to the core, to avoid capillary rise and to provide optimal performance relative to the weight of the substrate.

Our laid scrims are of minimal thickness and ensure dimensional stability and tear resistance.
