DESCRIPTION

ROTATEX™ G550 E17A comprises a glass laid scrim affixed to a 17 gsm nonwoven PET layer. The modified SBR adhesive is temperature-stable and compatible with bitumen. This complex can be used on rapid and high-performance impregnation lines, owing to the tensile strength and dimensional stability provided by the glass laid scrim.
The minimal basis weight and surface appearance of the PET nonwoven layer allows for full impregnation while preventing the bitumen from penetrating to the other side of the complex.
